I wrote this this morning after finals. It is a draft and extremely unrefined. It is about one of my favorite people in the world :)

You used to make me smile,
but now you make me frown.
It isn't that we've grown apart,
no, we've actually become quite close.
And now I feel like we're so connected
that your smiles and your frowns,
they're the same as mine.
-
So in a time, a place far off,
where we no longer coexist,
I'll know that if i'm ever sad,
for any strange, unexplained reason,
that it's because of you.
And I'll remember to shoot you a smile,
in hope that maybe, it works the same for you.
