Wait, which way?

Wait, which way?
I want you home.
You placed me here
music, song melody in my head.
Fantasy, hardly, we talked
danced too,
around and around
ignoring love, pretending.
I asked, you texted, you called
sang like lyrical bird that I knew.
You know, I danced with him two years
he asked me to leave.
I've changed,
no we havn't
the emotion, the intensity, the honesty
beats, beats, you felt it.
We even said we shouldn't be talking.
Eighteen years, fireworks remember,
music comes back, comes back
that is why I am hidden in the forest, ironic.
But you, journey on hills, where's that place?
Where are you going in the snow?
Why are you going so fast downhill?

Wait, which way?
A lifetime is a long time,
I write, I write, I write
and hear the radio,
promiss, when we will be we,
remember the music comes back,
the music comes back

and you promissed,
even if it is above the clouds.
