And the grey sickly walls,

Paling, dusty, cracking.

The windows of glass which once shone,

Clearly kicked aside by rock upon stone.

 

And no longer do you bend to sweep,

These streets so unclean and filthy.

For they are left untouched, dry,

So it hurts to see her always cry.
