along came love

 Not birthing a child their entire marriage was probably the reason he had two other women. Though he never verbally insulted her, his ways were insult enough. 

He began treating her like a stranger in the later years of their marriage and would never show up on any occasion with her. This hurt her to the bone and the hurt was so visible in her eyes to anyone sensitive enough to realise it. She never smiled, and rarely when she did, the sadness beneath the smile was barely hidden. 

 Seven year. That's how long he had not touched or made love to her. She had buried whichever feelings she had ever had for him and all there was left was hate. 

She was tired though. Tired of everything. From the hurt, the pain, the embarrassment, the sadness, loneliness and constant fear of being divorced. 

She was turning almost forty and the only man she ever known was him, but one morning they were over and for good so she began her own journey and along the way there came the love she had never expected.
