There’s a corner of a page
That I turned over when you came,
And the book is still unfinished
Things have never been the same,
Each chapter is a newborn sun
That’s written in the sky,
And every picture tells a tale
Of where, and when and why.

There’s a corner of my heart
That holds the  keepsake of a dream,
When we sat before the evening
By a softly whispered stream,
Such a sense of gentle Summer
Wandered slowly by our feet,
As the song thrush sang above us
Weaving tapestries so sweet.

There’s a sense of wishful thinking
As the morning spreads its wings,
When the Sun is yet unfolded
And before the sea breeze sings,
And the thoughts that I have treasured
Since you wandered through my eyes,
Give continuous surrender
To such soft and sweet surprise.

There was a feeling of forever
When I saw your face again,
As you looked up to me smiling
In the falling drops of rain,
But forever is a long time
For the book is just half read,
And the pages are still covered
With the things that are unsaid…
