Sometimes we all wish we could just go far away. Doesn't matter how as long as we do. But what we don't realize is that there is always something good in life where ever you are.

Fly Away

Sometimes I wish I could just fly away.

Like a majestic hawk, letting her beauty be shown,

I'd sore high above the trees along an endless day.

The wind brushing through my wings, no boundaries to where I roam.

Sometimes I wish I could just run away.

Like the daring cheetah, constantly moving to find food.

I'd run faster than any before across an open plain.

My muscular legs pushing me farther and farther to where ever I could.

Sometimes I wish I could just swim away.

Like the playful otter, traveling up and down the crystal stream,

I'd swim in and out of the currents and the whispering waves.

The cool water flowing past my body; of this, I dream.

No matter how much I may want to go, I remember those who love.

They love me for me and our friendship is as beautiful as the pureness of a dove.

When I think of the happiness they bring, I have no worries.

With their love and trust, forever and always, my heart flurries.
