many people are epitome of life and courage. They welcome obstacles and get through. But they never complain, they consider hardships as blessing

Blessing

Not so aesthetic yet beautiful

Glows her wrinkled face

Embellished with scars of yesterday

Revealing her pains and valour

Lucid eyes blue like sea

That cried oceans when people lurked

Soft, faded petal like smiling lips

Then quivered in sorrow alone

I admire you, dear mother

You never complained but appreciated

Everything life rewarded you with

Saying obstacles are also blessing

Building us when we fall

Pain suffices ego, transforms us

Imbues our soul with humanity

Hence sorrows are not curse

Imbibing the courage you showed

I pen down your fortitude

Engraving the truth illuminated

That life is a blessing
