Eternal Kinship

We parted our ways but never let the hatred bloom

You’re my companion, my brother and will remain to be

Neither you nor I thought to presume

To speak our hearts out during the departure

Though you emerged into a nation, abandoning the bond

A feeling of contempt could not invade

The World called us rivals, induced wars

There was love for one another under the shade

When I came to you recollecting the forgotten days

I recognized your love for me never faded

Innocent clashes under the worldly maze

Could not indeed erase the bond we share

We are an epitome of eternal kinship

Divided by boundaries, we are united by hearts

We stand for each other in hardship

For we are brothers until we die
