What is this? A breeze? Is it the wind that I feel?
Is this what it means to be dead, lying in darkness with the wind blowing on my motionless body ?

I hear something, "... se ... ive ...", I don't understand, "... ease ... ive ..." ,
what is this person trying to say? "... please ... live!"

The darkness fades and light emerges, a white ball of light above me, surrounded by a dark ocean filled with little bright lights ...

Besides me sits a girl, tears rolling down her beautifull face, falling on my cold cheeks.

"Where am I?" I ask with a soft, quiet voice.

She stands up, gesturing me to do so as well and says "you're where you're supposed to be... with me..."

As I stand I try to look around me, but the darkness made sure that my location remained a mystery, I turned my head towards the girl and in the moonlight I saw what she realy looked like...

The face that looked perfect before was actually filled with stitches and pieces of leather, covering the wounds that laid underneath, her eyes that first shone brightly were blank and lifeless, the clothes she wore were torn and filled with stains...

I backed away and tried to run, but she grabbed me in a tight hug, so tight that I thought I would suffocate, but I didn't, I didn't feel any pain, I didn't feel her skin against mine, I didn't feel a thing...

I turned around and saw her smiling face, the stitches almost bursting from the pressure her smile put on them, in my confusion I was able to ask one thing ...

"What am I?"

She reached for her pocket and took out a little shard of a mirror, she handed it to me and looked at me with a reassuring smile, I raised the shard and looked at what used to be my face, my nose wasn't there anymore, my hair was almost completely gone, my face was filled with holes of missing flesh and skin and I...

She took the shard out my hand and threw it away, she laid her arms around my waist and laid her head on my shoulder, my worries drifted away and a feeling of peace took over my thoughts, is this what I've heard so much about? What the living all wish to find...

Is this... love?
