lost love

I’ll do it on my own
My mind heart and soul are weak and hurting I have dreamt of my blood slowly seeping from my body gently taking away this pain in my dream I smile at the thought of you being the one to find me in a pool of my thick red blood.
I know then you would be the one to hurt like me you would have that vision burned into your mind for all time the only thing better would be you finding me just as that last breath was leaving my body my eyes asking you are you going to help me are you going to make the pain go away and love me as I did you and then I’m gone you were too late.
But that’s just a dream I will live because I must I will pull what happiness I can from this life I will do it on my own I know this now I failed with my animals my sanity but not my kids because they love me they care about me and they need me I don’t know how I will do it but I will make it happen.
