This poem expresses what you may experience when galloping a horse, although it is impossible for me to write down how I feel about such a thing. I don't know of any words to describe how wonderful, great, and happy I feel when galloping with my best friends (the horses).

I mount
I feel the power he possesses
He feels my weight on his back
I understand he could easily crush me
He understands this too
He also understands I trust him
So he decides to trust me
We walk up to the ridge
We both know what we are about to do
I sit up in 2-point position
He could easily rid me from his back
But instead he picks up his canter eagerly
I did not ask for this, but he knows I want him to do so
We have a certain way to communicate
I squeeze just a little with my heals
I know he could throw me, but I trust him
We start galloping
We become one
We both ask for more speed
We both get it
I can feel the wind in my face stronger, and his steps going faster
He can feel my body urging him on
We still get even more speed
We start to fly
But it all ends to soon
Neither of us wants to stop
But there is no more ground
We don't really understand why we need ground, for we were just flying
So we turn around and go again
