She told me that I think too much

I try to push too hard

Tell me then:

How do I let go?

How do I stop the worry

When it's an inherent part of who I am?

How do I resolve the stress

When it's constantly overwhelming me?

When do I clean out the clothes

I've been savoring for years?

When do I throw away the insecurities

That have been haunted me forever?

Where do I dump my troubles

I've held inside me for so long?

Where do my old friends go

Now that I've let us drift apart?

Perhaps her words are true

But even if they are

Thinking will lead me to answers

Pushing won't bring me down

Now I've changed my mind

Please don't tell me the answers!

I'm ready to take a leap

And go find the answers myself.
