Lately I've been having medical problems. It's spread from my legs and feet to my hands. My muscles spasm and I cannot move. Some days it happens and some days it doesn't...this poem tells of the experience.

Frozen

In one position

Still

Devoid of motion

My hands

Cannot relax

My fingers

Tight and tense

White,

Shiny and long

Black,

Glossy and narrow

The bench

Inviting me over

The wood

Cool to the touch

One finger,

The healing begins

Both hands:

Here lies the cure

Music

Envelopes the room

Glory

Sweeps over my soul.
