I saw him from a distance

He was tall in height

With rich dark hair

As I walked closer

He caught my eye-

Turned to look my way

Alluring as a mirror,

He gazed into my eyes

Pulling me closer and closer

A complete stranger

Yet an incredibly familiar face-

Plain yet remarkably handsome

I never spoke a single word

As he stared into my soul,

Both eyes focused on mine

So enchanting

So enthralling

His lips had me hooked when

Our eyes first met.
