People can be shallow sometimes. This is a poem about finding real worth inside instead of out.

I might not be the prettiest girl,
I might not be the skinniest,
But I'm always reaching to be my best

I might not be drop-dead gorgeous,
I might not have crystal clear skin,
But I know my beauty lies within

I might not be a model,
I might not be a star,
But I am simply me

I might not be popular,
I might not be a cheerleader girl,
But I am unqiue and proud to stand out

I might not wear designer clothes,
I might not wear expensive jewelry,
But my internal worth cannot be priced

I might not be a shop-a-holic,
I might not have a hundred shoes,
But stuff does not make me the person I am

I might not always wear makeup,
I might not have the best hair days,
But I am deeper than my face

I might not be your perfect girl,
I might not be perfect at all,
But I trust that you will like,

What you find underneath.
