A Mother's Day wish.

I am a mother to an angel,
A beautiful baby in the sky.
This time last year,
I was a mother to be -
But this year,
I cry.

To wrap my arms and hold my
Baby -
Would be my Mother's Day wish,
To feel a warm embrace of an angel,
To love my child with a tender kiss.

I didn't wake the cries of my love,
Or get to share my special day,
But the pain in my heart,
Only knows the words -
My mouth can't say.

I don't wish to be lavished with gifts,
Because presence is the best affection.
Knowing my beautiful baby is in the sky -
I'm sending my love,
To heavens direction.

The peace I gain,
Is knowing my baby is with their dad,
As much as I would have loved to spend it with them both,
It was once a beautiful numb experience,
That I could ever have had.

Mother's Day will always be,
But my love for my baby is -
Unconditionally.
