My Daddy said he wouldn't do it
He said he wouldn't hurt me again
But somewhere in my head Iknew it
His violence was becoming a trend

First it was just shouting
And breaking all my toys
Then came the clouting
The end to all my joys

My face was covered in bruises
My arms plastered with blood
He burnt out all his fuses
Like Inever knew he could

My Mommy tried to hide the brown
She painted all over my face
But I knew I looked just like a clown
A clown who had no taste

Whenever I went to playschool
The kids would point and laugh
They thought Iwas really uncool
Just another load of riff-raff

But they didn't know the full story
What was going on at home
They didn't know it was gory
Living in a tomb

I tried to suffer through it
Suffer on in silence
But Ichose to quit
For lack of better guidance

My Daddy had killed my Mommy
Killed her in cold blood
He just shot my Mommy
Like a common thug

So then Itried to run
To get out of the house
But he caught me before Ibegun
And put me in a cage like a mouse

And there Istay till this very day
Looking out the window
Praying I'll be okay
I guess you'll never know
