A poem I done

The moon shines brightly,

Brightly up the dark sky.

While down below,

The wolves stare up to it.

Howling loudly

And the bats flying toward it

As if to say hello,

The moon is like a lost friend

For the lost souls!

It always guides them to where they have to go

And always got their back

When they need it!

The night slowly ends

And it time for the moon to go in to rest,

Before becoming a lost friend all over again!

Wow, this is good, I can picture the setting, can't wait until you write more :) I hope you also read my poem "Freedom at last" and share your opinion.

I really like this poem because first it's about one of my favorite things, the moon. The moon means a lot to me for some reason. I think that it has a lot of mystery and I liked that you added some fantasy in your poem saying that the moon guides some lost souls, It really gave me shivers. When I was reading this poem I felt some magic on it because the moon for me has some magic. And the way that you used simile in the poem "The moon is like a old friend." I think that it's a beautiful comparison. Thank you for write about one of my favorite things.
