My thoughts reflecting the state of my mind. Just somehow it always brings me back to my past days, the days of bliss of the childhood innocence, which i failed to preserve in me. This is how everything seems like.

The Darkness Inside

I walk alone in the shades

and hide myself from being seen,

With time my identity fades

and i begin to exist unseen.

I share thoughts with the silence

prevailing in the deep darks of night,

And live my life in past's rememberance

the time when life was quite right.

I wander in the lonely boulevards

reflecting on what i left behind,

Collecting the pieces of shattered shards

of my broken soul and essence of my mind.

I encounter fear and feel the threats

of the unknown and shallow emptiness,

Sinking in the sea of guilt and regrets

Like living a life, a life so lifeless.
