Rain Thirst by BellaBath 2nd May 2008

Clouds roll through a darken horizon,

Gusts of wind bring forth the scent of rain,

Wet droplets explode beneath a towering sky,

The thunder roars his bellowing cry.

Sharp lightning echoes in the distance,

Closer she comes,

Her deadly strike,

Letting loose upon the ground she hits her target.

Crash the thunder yells,

Lightening holds its grip,

Rain splutters upon the surface dry,

Wetness is inevitable.

Droplets of rain drench the trees outside,

Glistening flowers shine in the breeze,

A Storm is upon us,

Come rain,

Our planet thirsts.
