I'd rather eat at Denny's

Than some place that serves Champagne.

I'd rather wear my jeans and boots

Than clothes with designer names.

I like my music country

I like my country free.

Guess I'm just a good ole boy

That's all I'll ever be.

Don't need no city woman

With her diamonds and fur.

Don't need a fancy, pretty thing

Just give me a country girl.

My world shops at Wal-Mart

No Gucci will be found.

A 12 pack and a football game

In a bar across town.

My pickup truck suits me just fine

A Limo's not for me.

You won't find me in no penthouse

A Cabin in the woods, is all I need.

Yes I'm just a good ole boy

That's plenty fine by me
