A few haiku that I wrote a while back when I was first trying out poetry about one of my favorite things from nature. Enjoy.

Summer's Rain

On a summer’s night

The rain constantly pours down

And sooths uptight minds.

The dark thunderclouds

Gently roll by without care,

With booms soft and low.

The wind has picked up

And has blown the pouring rain

In through the window.

Tiny birds chirping

To the rhythm of the rain;

They keep on singing.
