Me and my 5 year old nephew were digging in the garden for grubs as kids love to do. I saw an insect that i'd never seen before and told my nephew that it was called a wobblegog. This is a poem that i've written for him.

Wilf The One-Eyed Wobblegog

I'm Wilf, the one-eyed Wobblegog,

I sleep beneath the trees.

I'm not a bird - I'm not a frog,

but something inbetween.

-

I'm red and blue, with yellow wings,

(but I've never, ever flown)

I bounce around on silver springs,

and play a golden saxaphone.

-

My favourite food is crunchy grubs -

my favourite drink's Ribena.

I sometimes slurp up slimy slugs

and purple semolina.

-

I sometimes fish for sticklebacks

or hunt amongst the shrubs,

then sell my catch as tasty snacks

to local insect pubs.

-

It's brilliant being a Wobblegog.

It's the only life i know,

so if one day you lift a log,

don't squash me, simply say "hello!".
