Ive spent a day with lines of lies With broken hearts and caution signs

With shards of glass, and whisps of truth

With sick sincerity and impressionable youth

And then came a night of plastic friends

Of excessive use and garbage bins

Of wish washy vision and finate remarks

Of loveless lovers with gut wrenching hearts

But all of that passed when I grew up

It took a girl for me to love

It took realization to stop my shit

It took pain to allow life to hit

Then i cleared the smoke of lack-luster days

And i dreamed of an air no longer decayed

I put down my arms and opened my heart

I allowed her to enter for our love to embark.
