If what living was could be living now.
And the sweet honeysuckle of spring could sustain me now,
Or just stay for one last kiss.

If time could be turned right onto its head,
The real living could desert the dead,
And brave the black abyss.

If fates could be contravened,
Then he who must die must not,
And could stay for one last kiss.

If you could rise up from the grave,
I'd never shed a tear again,
There'd never be that one last kiss,
Together we'd brave the black abyss.
