the sadness will last forever

at least

put away for another year

i miss cardiff in winter

i miss my friends

and a girl id like to call my confidant

the sadness will take me

truly

embrace me with its dead arms

tease me with withered lips

push substance

all these thoughts of death

of sanity

of crystal clear apathy

and im lost in a wave

of wishes

of suicide

promises i want to break

but too weak

just weak enough to scorn and pity

i miss cardiff in winter

caged in by my own hand

because there simply isnt anything out there

nothing worth waking for

and i miss a place

ive never lived

two rooms across the country

without a home

just the memory of jackets

scarves

cigarettes

hands in hands

but i cant go there

because the sadness has come out for another year

and there is nothing

nothing worth waking for
