Give me your small delicate hand

Place you life in my stead

For I am a knight of the light

I shall guard and care for you

Fighting all your demons no questions asked

Call me in your hour of need

I will come ridding to your rescue

Even in my death I shall be around

Asking for nothing in return

This is the job I was born for

Picking you up when you fall

Healing your wounds

Mending your shattered heart

Watching you grow

Showing you the way

Until that day when you no longer need me

Setting you free

Knowing you have the strength

To stand on your own feet

Fight your own demons

Heal your own wounds

Never forget that I am still around

Ready to grab you small delicate hand once again

Just in case you fall once again

As you shall remain in my heart
