Life is not just what we see and what we can prove, and denial isn't getting us to the truth, so come and take a peek behind the curtain our minds sewed....This poem has been trying to find its way out of my heart for a while, and when it did, well, I wrote it in a couple of days, so to all of those trying to release their inhibitions, look aropund you, hear the world...simply, everybody dies but not everybody lives.
Enjoy

The two lanes way we call a life

is just too narrow for my senses

And all the books and all the minds

are just a couple of useless lenses

If we were to create the world

we would have painted black and white

for colors haven’t been discovered

because of high travel expenses

So then we took a harmful care

in squeezing all our brains and paintings

just to come up with a grey hair

that was the answer then the tenseness

Oh if you look just for a while

through my brown eyes and dirty glasses

You’ll see the colors of the Nile

free of its tears and thorny fences

You’ll see how a rock can resemble

a cloth of silk inside the Canyon

and hear the stars silently tremble

chanting with Allah’s references

How dull of you to drill a hole

through which you see nothing but death

you have to break this logic wall

lo and behold, there are your answers

It’s funny how you can’t conceive

the world without the lines and angles

just take a step and you’ll believe

for faith’s trip to you is endless

No one can put me in the darkness

unless I choose to close my eyes

If I can make room for the Loch Ness

And not for God then why have senses?

The two lanes way we call a life

with all the smiles that we have torn her

has failed to make us realize

that there’s a world around the corner

well, i do like the way you put this together. nicely done. though i'm afraid you're barking up the wrong tree. i'm an atheist. i once had a long talk with a good friend of mine who just could understand why i would take that path. she said it's a matter of belief and faith. i had to respond that those concepts, and you may find this hard to fathom, are the ones that bother me the most. to believe, without evidence, or even in the face of contradictory evidence, leads me to suspect that one would greatly increase one's chances of believing in something that isn't true. the three things i value above all, are truth, love, and beauty, and i will always be trying to seek what is true, because wondrous worlds reside there. i know many people of faith feel safer and more comfortable, more secure, but, to me, life will always be a struggle, and i accept that. thanks for taking an interest in my poem.

Thank you very much, and you're right about some agreeing and some not, but I just wanted to put my view out there

Man, this poem really touched me, in a cool way. Such a cool topic to write about and you wrote about it so well. You have very neat views, I agree with mostly everything you say. This was clever indeed. Great work!
