The City

The city has a life of it's own, the way the lights kiss the sky forming a devine line between all space and time.
The way steam rises from the vents of a cold but busy street.
Maybe it's the fast pace of a summer night, people moving to and fro making the world go around.
It might the sounds that I love, a train running late, the wailing of a police siren. A horn blowing piercing the night air. The sound of footsteps on the pavement.
I just love the city any city because the city has a life of it's own a family tree of it's own, either you are related or your not.

Living just enough, just enough for the city.
