Kelsey is just an average 15 year old girl. Okay, so she isn't exactly part of the "popular crowd" at school, but she isn't unpopular either. But, Kelsey doesn't see it that way. Sure, she has friends at school... but she doesn't have a best friend. She doesn't MEAN anything to them, she just makes their gang look bigger.

Kelsey believes that nobody likes her and she dreads going to school. She thinks that she is too fat, and believes that she'll never get a boyfriend. To her, life sucks.

One day, Kelsey gets hit by a car and ends up in a coma. She wakes up six months later. Suddenly, the whole school knows who she is. She's lost weight and is suddenly a lot skinnier, and now, the gorgeous new boy in her life seems to be interested in being more than friends.
