In Her Own Image
God thought: "What fine art, a real masterstroke."
When She divinely created womenfolk.
"A deed so well done," She added smugly
After making Adam truly ugly.

I like it. It was short and well written.
Thank you for your comment. I am glad you liked it.
Nice to see some light hearted poetry. Great concept!
If you get a chance, I'd appreciate some feedback on my first submission to this site. It's a poem so comments from other poets (especially a former teacher if I read correctly from one of your comments on someone else's work) would be great. Thanks. And again, great work! I look forward to reading your other stuff.
Thanks for your comment. I am glad there is a growing number of people that like light hearted poetry.
I am so pleased you recognise God as female.... and often our heart's are more beautiful too (not always though ;)
Well, it's just my warped mind fooling around with stereotypes. I'm not too sure about the female heart being more beautiful. Sofar, I have come across some women who seemed to have obtained their heart from some sort of quarry.
Thanks for your nice comment.
My god is female, she is mother earth and she is indeed beautiful, while man scratches in her dirt.
Nice thought, Dibs. Thanks for reading my little poem.
Aha! Mother earth is cunning too - making sure that created in her own image is wondrous and that not ordinary. Very nice creative piece.
Thanks, I'm glad you liked it.
yeah spot on ... I mean look at me !
Thanks for reading it. Not everyone will think it is spot on, but that doesn't matter.
My wife always says that God created man, then She had a better idea. Clever little rhyme you have here.
Always wiling to please our better halves, right? Thanks for your comment.
