The Wordsmith

His eyes are glowing full of ire
When once again his pen must flow.
Words quenching his blistering fire,
Making the pleasant stanzas grow.

Like the smith with heavy hammer
Forging art's perfect symmetry.
Shoeing soundly, without clamour
The dark horse we call poetry.
