Recently I have formed an anti-bulliying campaign. The poem that I have written is comparing the experince of being bullied with the sensation of drowning. I feel these are interelated because when being bullied you often feel like you are drowned with the fear and loneliness of bulling and I have attempted to demonstrate the severe emotional despair bullying can pose on an individual.

I floated there, aware of vast emptiness, engulfing

Alone, barely breathing the temperature plummeted

Here they came, I could see them immerging

All others parted; they could sense the predators coming,

I could hear their insults invading my lungs, my head pounding,

I couldn’t reach the surface; I saw only the light dancing on the gritted sands

I struggled, I dragged my limbs in vein but I was immersed.

They advanced they were upon me; dragging me deeper,

Everything a blur, salty water stinging my vision

I attempted to scream but silent air rose above Deeper and deeper, silent tears falling below.
