You've got me feeling all depressed and all
Holding on, but just about to fall
I thought I'd drop you easily
But that was not meant to be.
You've got me in, with a tight grip
And I just can't seem to even slip
Out of the grasp that has kept me here so long.
But now, I have somehow gotten out
I have no more reasons to pout
I have what I've always needed
And it's definetly not you.
In a way, I still have a soft side for you
But I'm done chasing you with all my might.
In fact, now, I'm trying as hard as I can
To stray as far from you as possible
Because you're just not the first on my list.
In fact, you're the last.
And you're now just a part of my past.
