A NIGHTMARE TO SHARE

I shot up like an arrow,

out of darkness and sorrow.

I took hold of a hand,

which took me to a land,

A land which I have dreamt about.

It was a land of books,

With awfully good looks.

It was a good old land for readers,

And also for good leaders.

A land made by the authors,

With fairy god mothers.

There were fairies with wands,

and witches that chants.

With kings and queens,

With castles and dungeons

It was a great ecstasy to be in a book of fantasy.

I shot up like an arrow,

Into a sky of darkness and sorrow.

I took hold of a hand,

Which took me to a land.

Where people lived in grief.

Let me tell you in brief,

It was a land of sadness,

and also full of eeriness.

I looked around left and right,

But there was not a single light.

But wait!! There's a speck of light,

Which grew bigger and bright.

And then my window came into view,

But still I couldn’t believe that it was true.

It was all just a nightmare,

That I would love to share.
