Change scares people, it scares the best of us, even me. It can sweep in like a vampire in books, and threaten our mortality, our sanity. Like a girl used to bad treatment from men. When a good man comes along and doesn't visibly or vocally hurt us, we naturally become suspicious. We feel that the good guy, much like the vampire, has a hidden agenda. One that takes our lives and ruins it, with no regard to us. But in stories this vampire can enhance and even lengthen our lives. Make it fuller in a sense. So if the vampire bites you, like a good guy treating you right, is it really a bite or is it a sign of affection to help us? My point is that, change, much like a vampire, can seemingly come to hurt you. But if you let it, "bite" you, you will find it may actually be giving you a gift. It will take trust and hope to let it bestow it's gift, but in the end, change, as scary as it may seem, helps you. It's "Hidden Agenda" isn't hidden at all, you just have to look beyond the hideous monstrous apparel and know that it is trying to make your life better.
