“What’s wrong with nature?” you say. But what’s wrong is us.

Butterflies flutter, leaves slowly fall.

Another day opened with ruins of our home.

Suddenly we think of people we never talked much to,

Those we took for granted.

One moment they’re here, next they’re gone.

“Someday we’ll do this and that”,

It struck me now,

That we can never see each other again.

Why didn’t we do things sooner?

I’ve wrote things to be done, dreams to be fulfilled.

Others may have done the same too,

But will never realise them.

I look up at the sky,

And wonder how fragile our lives are.

Running past people amidst the chaos,

I want to grab the light,

Smile, and fly through the fog.

Don’t let your world be torn apart.

Maybe we’ve lost our love ones,

Maybe our hearts will tear soon.

Even things don't make sense,

and we're desperately looking for answers.

But if we are together as one,

No matter the distance,

No matter the differences,

We would be strong.

With a smile,

Just like it hasn’t changed

Since the day the sun shone brightly down,

Continue to support and urge each other,

Lifting spirits up.

Even if the world seems like it’s ending,

and the nights are darker,

Don’t lose hope.

Even seas have rainbows,

And rays of sunshine gleam through clouds.

Along with our weaknesses,

Along with our sorrow,

Even if they can’t be fully buried away,

It’s time to move on,

Smile wide,

Live on.
