The book Pagan Christianity by Frank Viola gives examples of how ecumenical every church in America has borrowed "church" traditions from that of the catholics. From the pews, to the pulpit, to the church edifice, to name a few examples. Frank promotes the church system. Some things in his book are accurate. He doesn't discourage church attendance as I had thought he would.

In my ministry of over ten years of service to Father, I have noticed little if any real changes in the local church. It is still a man pleasing, self centered enterprise. There is no such thing as "church" in reality as we read the Bible. The assembly or called out ones are flesh and blood people. Scholars came up with the word "church" because of the Catholic and Jesuit indoctrinated training at seminars they attended.

The Catholic church was created before any Protestant group. Therefore "church" was created by Catholics. before the catholic church  formed was of course Jesus and His disciples. Jesus had no where to lay His head. The Gospels: Matthew, mark, luke and John tell us all about Jesus and His mission on earth. Giving us hope now and in the future. Many in the church have lost sight of what I believe is the real idea of assembly. Some in rthe ministry are hard core and promote Moses and the Law. Still, others promote a fun, party, musical type entertaining church. Some believers are doing more than me, making lots of friends.

Wealth, popularity and race are the biggest traps people fall into and think those things make us a better person or holier than thou. Those things may land us a job in the world. Christ commands us to follow Him and leave people and things behind. We need to carry our own load. carry our cross.

Bless you and live for today and hope for tomorrow.
