Darkness, hold me.

Embrace my darkened heart,

Hold me until I'm cold no longer.

Heal my wounds,

And cover my scars.

Darkness, hold me;

The light was taken from me,

A long time ago.

Every time I see her face,

The world around me dies.

She's the air in my life;

I'm constantly suffocating.

Darkness, hold me.

Give her my heart,

And let me die in her arms.

One last kiss,

And then set me free.
