One day, I was watching the sun set and it inspired me to write this poem. It's rather simple, yet it has a deep meaning.

Setting sun, I watch thee

Under this withering oak tree.

Cold breezes caress my frown,

Though your light glimmers down.

A leaf falls into my hand.

Dead, and of the crimson brand.

Such a simple thing, this.

If only time would allow the bliss.

Alas, wind comes like a thief,

Stealing my lifeless leaf.

Much like things I once held near.

Such is why, alone, I sojourn here.
