Away from fears, I run.

Into the cold night's air.

Hoping to lose them there.

Faster, I flee from their sight.

Hiding for what seems like forever.

Struggling to hold my eyes open.

Sleep hunts me down like death.

Covering me in a blanket of black.

When i awaken from my death.

I feel the pain growing near.

I hear it approaching without tear.

It captures my mind, like a prisoner.

Eating my soul, I see a light on the horizon.

The Pain's voice assures it's sunlight.

But as it draws near I can see clear.

It's the monsters bringing things i fear.

I try to run, but the pain stays me.

They close in on the distance.

Laying here, immobilized, with no choice.

Eaten alive, never to be seen again.
