One day in Central Bunnway Square, a little bunny named, Pierre. Pierre was gathering rations and other supplies for his family. He noticed a marine elistment center in the middle of Bunnway Square. He thought about the war on and not enough soldiers to fight and win the terrible war between the bunny people and the rat people. The war had been going on for three years now and the army was running out of soldiers to  fight against the rats. Pierre stopped, and thought about how he wanted to serve his country and defend his family and honor. He hopped over to the booth and signed the enlistment papers so that he could join the marines.
That night when Pierre came home, he told his family that he had joined the marines to fight and protect them. "Why have you done this Pierre? You know we don't make a living without you. what will we do for a living? How do you expect us to live without you?" Margarete, Pierre's wife said. He said," I thought I was going to make you happy with my decision to join up and fight. And you'll be fine without me. If you get a job as a secretary, you'll get a lot of money. More than enough for you and  the children. I leave tomorrow for training and then off to war."
The next day all of the children lined up in age order to say goodbye to their daddy.  First was Neal, then Ellen, then Rachel, next was Sara, then Nick, then Ariell, then Layla, then Justin, next was Zanya, Sammie, then Kaylee, and finally, Inara. They waved goodbye with tears in their eyes. Pierre arrived at the training camp about half an hour later. He got his tent assignment, weapons, gear, and platune assignment. He went to his tent to see two other new privates names Private John and Private David. Pierre quickly became friends with his tentmates.
Their Sargent came to their tent and told them to pack up their gear and get ready to leave for battle in the morning. They did as the Sargent had said and in the morning, they set out for the batlle that would rage ahead. About four hours later, their platune arrived at their camp for the night along with twenty five other platunes. That night Pierre lay awake on his bed of straw and hay with only a little cloth that shielded him from the cold.
At dawn the next morning, their Sargent  woke the men up and led them to the battle ahead. They headed for Fuzzy Falls and Rabid River. Pierre knew that this was a good spot to fight against the rats. Pierre had taken his family there many times to collect berries and such other foods. He knew that his platune would be shielded by the rocks from any opposing fire from the rats on the other side. Minutes later the rat troops were at the falls to take over the land nearby. The rats were wondering where the bunnies were.

In an instant the bunnies popped out and started firing from behind the waterfall. The rats were taken by surprise and were slaughtered by the courageous and strategeous bunny marines. He looked behind to see his friend celebrating the victory, but only to find them dead. He went over to them and looked each one to make sure they weren't dead. He went over to Private David and saw that he wasn't dead, but badly wounded. Pierre picked up Private David and carried him to the nearby hospital.
