I wrote it because I needed to get back into the poetry swing.
And I was in the anger/chaos mood.
And I like thunder and lightning.
Enjoy if you please.

Above me blooms a solemn midnight

Starlight about it strewn asunder

Below it lies a thousand heartbeats

And within them a hundred beats of thunder

My heart breaks like lightning on the horizon

Dancing, swirling out of touch

You see it only in a flash-it's gone now

There too little, but for me too much

For from this light burst outpours burning

Scathing, gnawing emotions too real

From theGoddess of Thunder, the Maiden of Storm Mist

Hers is the only altarto which Ikneel

And down fromHer light break, the blistering white now

The hatred and fear come carry me away

It blinds me so I cannot see you

It mutes me so feeble words I can't say

So please forgive me my transgressions

If they so manifest in expressional form

They are but remnents of wild weather

Memories of a Goddess-touched storm.
