I ride these troubled seas
About to touch the burning ice
Survived, till now, by a fine line
A broken shield; my dreams
~
I wrote a happy symphony
I thought I could fight
But all joys turn to ice
I cannot shut out the screams
~
The lights are turning weak
Shadows feed upon my mind
Thick veil on my eyes
Whispers of the diseased
~
I know I am a nobody
Stopped pretending I had been liked
That I was in someone's mind
Ignorance bites me more than loathing
~
Better now to rot in peace
Than all these lies;
Everything will be fine
Just put me to sleep
