dot dot dot

You are a harsh master

You are cruel and unkind

You are worse than any disease

You are the plague of my mind

You start off small

Working on our insecurities

Before we even know it

We have become your thrall

You whisper cruelly in our ears

That we are all alone

You feed lies into our heads

You pray off our deepest fears

You make it so we cannot breath

Tears of blood sting our eyes

Soon we turn to a suicidal embrace

We can be saved if only we believe

One you have crept into our hearts

We will forever duel with you

It’s sad I know but we will win

But shall never truly be apart

I don't know how it is for everyone ese but this is how anxiety is for me. From just one small issue like anxiety easily treated I didn't ask for help and now have 3 more issues ontop. So if anyone thinks they suffer Anxiety attacks PLEASE get yourself checked out or it could blow out of control

You were so right mad, anxiety doesn't control you, you are not its thrall, you are in charge.. anxiety is a stupid bitch who I would love to punch in the face... we do have to live with it, but we never have to listen to it, great poem

You missed the point. I'm saying it is all that until you fight back. Anyways ya half right for what i was trying to say and 100% right for what anxiety is. But even when you recover like you have it stays with you whispering into your ear and if you forget you fall again.

I came back and re read it and it stired some of my depression feelings about how you can get over but never realy loose it, same goes for the bulimia I 'm afraid. But hey they are my issues this is still amazing work.

Yeah the medical people can do little to help with anxiety. Be your own counsellor or let friends and family be your guide-the counsellors I know have little personal experience and so can't help in my opinion. yes the anxiety and the thoughts are always in the back of your mind and come out at times I agree with you.

LOL... Thank you... I suffer from Panic attacks and social agoraphobia so I know about anxiety... Not even friends can help if they know. All mine up and left.
