Trapt
The things that surround me
The thoughts in my head
sometimes it's frightening
Everything I hear instead
Trying not to scream
Trying not to cry
But things happen in my dreams
Escaping is what I try
We all know that someday
We all must move on
But it's hard to accept
While watching early dawn
Things that surround me
The thoughts in my head
Mostly it's frightening
Especially what I envision while lying in bed
Trying not to gasp
Trying not to feel
Just hiding behind a mask
As the time always steals
My dreams engulf me
My thoughts run rapid
I guess it's not so frightening
When you start listening instead
