This sonnet is dedicated to my friend; Jenny Rose, whose courage and perseverance showed me what living is all about.I wish that she would sing another song for me just the way before........ before I reveal to her through this poem the music in my heart.Jen........ I don't want your song or the tune, all I want is to be part of your song.

sonnet 1

by: GLenn Cañamo "van ofdawn"

Jilted in the tune of love, doth not need

Either thine song, or thine music in clear mind

Nice song of friendship hides poseur's eyes---

Notes played in rhythm ne'er my soul unwind

Yells one's desire to be part of the song

Reaching out those tune, in man's swore of love

Or living the song untouched for so long

Sing to me the sweet words bless from above

Even not for love; condemn thy words in pure heart

Slush of withered wintered heart, bids mind longing----

On spring tht niether mine nor own as hearth

No season can chime the song that you bring

Give to me thy grace, thy smile, thy goodness

Song will count; bound in the tune of greatness
