Sonnet X11

Conceive by a fruitful summer's bosom

He who have writ and he who have witness'd;

Everything that is good and everything that pleas'd:

Rend to where summer's colors gladly bloom,

Yielding a fruitful scent of joyous heart.

But above was a lass of hemlock scent

Ever graceful and beauty is more bent,

Like an apple would be deceitful part.

Long he stood long he stare to that girl; and

End where forgotten beauty of summer,

Then it was done! dark and dawn; wasn't clear

All was fallen and summer was banned

Behold he had fault and he was ashamed

All Reckon was his unjust eyes who claimed.
