Sometimes, when branches fall away, it's inevitable that it happens, for whatever reason.

We grew up on the same tree

Connected and raised from the

same seed

Better than best buds

A mutual love

Enduring countless conditions

Eventually, causing consistent

Attrition on top of the constant friction

There's no more energy that it's able to hold

Not to mention

The inevitable desension

A down to earth type of thing

What brings this to happen?

A continouous swinging

Of negative energy

That causes the branch to snap

Away from the tree

Down to earth

The dying branch lays

Wondering why it was broken away

As if it was betrayed...

Time

Chimes in

Attrition

Rotting from within

Swinging to and fro...

Perhaps it's just inevitability

That inhibited its ability to stay connected

There's no further need to dissect this

Things happen that causes the branch

to break away from its foundation

No longer part of its formation...

The branch

Deals with its new location...

Mr Watson

Loved the perception of this piece, sometimes in life things change, and you have no choice but to break free !

this poem was dedicated to someone that I was close to, but their actions caused me to "break" away from them....thanks you for reading, Mr. Watson.

unmasked delusions

Hello old friend, thought I'd check and see how you were. Anyways, I can relate to this is so many different ways. The emotions really tugged at my heart. It's hard to be a broken, dead branch. I had to break away from someone because of their actions too not that long ago- this poems really fits for that feeling. "The branch deals with it's new location" very sad, I like it.

It's the honest truth. The brutal thing with life is that a happy ending doesn't happen often. People will be in and out of your life, like the branches of the tree. Thank you for your comment and feedback.
