You hold me

You mold me

You grab ahold

And never let it go

Though it’s shattered

Many times before

You pick up the pieces

Off of the cold floor

You wonder what we do

Why we do this for

It’s because I have yours

And you have mine

Intertwined and aligned

It’s like we were assigned

To each other

Before the beginning of time

Before our bloodlines combined

It’s skips a beat when you come

Into a room

Smiles when I see you

Sees through to the real you

I’m eternally grateful

Gracious, that you strive for greatness

In me.
